Overview
What it is
An agentic coding tool from Anthropic that runs in the terminal and IDEs. It reads the codebase, runs shell commands and makes multi-file edits, and supports subagents, hooks and MCP servers.
Who it is for
Developers who want an agent to carry a task end to end, including running the Godot binary to check its own work.
Hands-on test
Not run yet
We have not run Claude Code on our test box yet. It needs a login, a paid plan or a browser session we do not have set up, and we will not guess at results. Everything on this page comes from the official site and pricing page, checked on 15 October 2026. There is no score until we run the standard Godot 4 test.
Engines
Engine compatibility
Only engines we ran the tool with are marked as tested. Everything else says not tested yet, even where the vendor claims support.

Pros and cons
Good

- Supports MCP servers such as Godot MCP
Watch out
- Needs a paid plan or API credits
